Updated the design!

I thought the old design was a bit boring and not suitable for a my little pony blog, therefore I made a made a custom header and background image.

I think it works pretty good, but some advice on this subject is always welcome :)

Spa day and another grail :)

Flowerburst is currently 'enjoying' a spa day to get the waves out of her hair. A previous owner had braided her hair and the waves looked pretty, but it doesn't match with the hair of her other sister pony's.

Also, I wasn't planning on getting anymore pony's this week cause of the massive amount I bought already, but there was a lot on marktplaats.nl which featured a certain grail pony for me *hint, she's purple with blue hair and a tail*. So I just HAD to get that lot, I won the auction and paid the seller, hopefully she'll arrive this week. The other pony's in the lot are pretty too, so I think they'll stay with me :).

A few weeks ago I bought a book in which I'm planning on keeping track which pony's I use to have, I want, and own. I finished the section with the pony's I owned as child, and today I will continue with the pony's I want. When that list is complete I will also post it her on the blog :).

Waiting for ponymail the coming week

So I kind of went crazy on marktplaats.nl yesterday and today en purchased 10 My Little Pony's!
The coming week will hopefully be filled with ponymail and spa-days for the pony's!
If everything will go as planned I will have another childhood grail back and two other grail pony's :).
And I bought a small lot with hopefully some hidden treasures in it, but you can never be sure and I just have to wait and see what will arrive in what condition.

MIB pretty Ups!

Today I went to Utrecht to a collectors event (vintage, music, memorabilia etc etc), they also had one hall that was dedicated to toys, and I really thought I could find some G1 ponies there. But unfortunately I didn't find any G1 ponies, and that made me a little bit sad.

But going through all the stalls I did find some MIB Pretty Ups! The box isn't in the best display but for someone who just started her collection I just couldn't resist this.

 

New Pony Shelf and childhood picture!

Pony Brag : Baby Fance Pants Ponies

Just look at how cute Baby Starburst looks! This is also a childhood pony of mine that I have repurchased the past weeks. I just love her blue, pink and yellow colours. She was one of my favorite baby ponies :). 

Pony Brag : Merry Go Round Ponies

Merry Go Round ponies are so beautiful and I'm lucky enough that I own one at the moment (hopefully two next week but more on that in another post). The pony I own is called Flower Bouquet. She is a beautiful white pony with pink mane, and luckely the manes and tail on mine are still pink.

 

 

Pony Brag : Sweetheart Sisters

I've been collecting pony's for a while now and it is time for an update of the MLP's I've gotten so far :).

I'll start with my most favorite pony's : Sweetheart Sisters! I just love their elegant bodies and great color schemes. I already had one, but purchased three others.

The purple pony is called Spring Song and the blue pony's name is Flowerburst. These two I owned as a child and I'm really glad that I've got them back. Spring Song will need and upgrade in the future cause she's missing her earring and her mane is cut, but in a pretty way :). From the Sweetheart Sister pony's I owned when I was a child I'm only missing Wild Flower (the orange version). Hope to find her someday.

The pink pony is called Dainty and she holds a special place in my heart. When I was a child I remember looking at her picture in a booklet and always wishing I had the pink one, so when I got her it was an childhood grail I could tick of my list ;).

The MLP's have arrived!

Today I got my first ever ponymail!!
I was so excited to get the package, and a little freaked out cause it didn't feel like there was anything in it *lol*.. But I quickly but carefully opened it and there they were PONY'S!!!!

I think they look really cute, and I'm in love with that sweetheart sister pony! I think that those are my favorite ones! And I really want to start collecting them. But that winger is a cutie as well, and that one makes me want to buy flutter pony's.. But for now I'm quite happy with my two new girls :)

Bought two My Little Pony's

So today I already threw away my plan to start with recollecting my old ponies. I bought two that I never owned when I was a child. The ponies that I bought are Sweetheart Sister Starflash and Summer Wing Little Flitter!

I saw them online and they are just SO beautifull! And from what I could see on the pictures in very good condition. Especially the glitter marks on Starflash and the wings on Little Flitter. The latter only has some dry ends on her hair, but she'll be getting a good hair wash upon arriving. I'll be posting pictures when they arrive :).

Tomorrow I'm gonna go to a local flea market in the hope to find at least 1 MLP. I went to 3 thrift stores in the past week but couldn't find any ponies.

My first pony order :)

Today I went to several thrift shops with my mother, but unfortunately didn't find any my little pony's :(. I was really hoping to find one!
So when I came home I went online looking for some good deals and came across the following site:

After browsing the page I'm hoping to order the following 3 pony's:
- Bridal Pony;
- Flower Bouquet;
- Rosedust.

The Bridal Pony will be a childhood pony for me :), so I'm glad if I can obtain that one. The other two I just loved the design and Rosedust was my favorite flutterpony :).

My first entry

Welcome to the first entry to my My Little Pony blog,

My name is Lindsay, I'm a 25 year old woman living in the Netherlands. After years of not thinking about my childhood's most favorite toy, I recently fell in love with them all over again. What I really would like to do is re-collect my childhood My Little Pony's (MLP's), and add some new favorites to the collection. I'm gonna be focusing mainly on the G1 and G4 MLP's and hope to have some great times with fellow collectors.
