Childhood sticker Grail

I don't have many memories left of my childhood, but the one thing that always stayed in my head was this sticker book I had when I was little, I use to carry it around everywhere. It was a My Little Pony Sticker Book, and I specifically remembered a certain page with lots of tiny little pony stickers on it.
I have been searching for this Sticker Book for about 5 years. Even when I wasn't into collecting MLP, I was searching ebay etc for it. But I'd never come across it and I thought I made it all up.
But that is when I joined the MLP Arena, and a seller had posted a photo with that Sticker Book on it!!! I was so glad, but also sad, cause it was already sold.
Last week I was searching the web AND THERE IT WAS!!! Two of them to be exact, I immediately contacted the seller and she accepted my offer. I not only have 1, but two of them :).

Grails :)

Of all the My Little Pony's there are, I can't think of a line that I find more beautiful and adorable than the Family Friends line, that whole line is my ultimate grail! My collectors goal is to have them all in mint condition one day.

At the moment I have a beautiful Mommy Meadowsweet, who's only flaws are a bit of pink marker on her lips and faded hair colors. I also have this lovely baby Sunbright, she's near mint :). Both of these beautiful girls came from another wonderful Arena Member!

Then there is another little grail I got, this lovely fancy mermaid pony Baby Sea Shimmer.

SHS addiction

I'm a little bit addicted to SHS pony's, they are my favorite pony kind, with their beautiful slender bodies, and great color schemes. I also love their long hair and eye make-up. To make a long story short, I'm hooked!!!

Got the four girls above, and the three on the left completed my first MLP set!!

Here we have my first princess pony, Princess Tiffany, my first baby boy (Drummer) and my first flutter pony Forget Me Not.

Childhood ponies

I got the opportunity to get some of my childhood ponies back thanks to a great Arena member :). She send me these three beautiful girls, and I'm in love with them! Wave Runner and Bonnie Bonnets do need some work on their hair, but I'm just so glad that I got them back.

My first two Nirvana's

I got two Nirvana's in a lot I bought really cheep. Meet Italian Gusty she's still a bit dirty and has slight tail rust. The other one is Italian Flutterbye, who is near mint, and has lovely pink hair :).

Meet Braided Beauty my first Brush and grow, who unfortunately has a tail cut, but otherwise looks really pretty (even the pink streak in her hair, is still really pink). The other pony is my second Merry-go-round pony, Brilliant Blossoms. She is in great conditions, she only has one little mark on her NDS leg.

On to the next girls. Here we have Banana Surprise, Coco Berry and Pepermint Crunch.

These girls are in mint condition, I can't find a flaw and they smell so good! 

Rainbow power G4 ponies

This week I went to dinner with a good friend of mine. Before dinner we went shopping, and she surprised me with three new ponies. It was an early birthday gift.

I got this one for myself :)

Updated the design!

I thought the old design was a bit boring and not suitable for a my little pony blog, therefore I made a made a custom header and background image.

I think it works pretty good, but some advice on this subject is always welcome :)

Spa day and another grail :)

Flowerburst is currently 'enjoying' a spa day to get the waves out of her hair. A previous owner had braided her hair and the waves looked pretty, but it doesn't match with the hair of her other sister pony's.

Also, I wasn't planning on getting anymore pony's this week cause of the massive amount I bought already, but there was a lot on marktplaats.nl which featured a certain grail pony for me *hint, she's purple with blue hair and a tail*. So I just HAD to get that lot, I won the auction and paid the seller, hopefully she'll arrive this week. The other pony's in the lot are pretty too, so I think they'll stay with me :).

A few weeks ago I bought a book in which I'm planning on keeping track which pony's I use to have, I want, and own. I finished the section with the pony's I owned as child, and today I will continue with the pony's I want. When that list is complete I will also post it her on the blog :).

Waiting for ponymail the coming week

So I kind of went crazy on marktplaats.nl yesterday and today en purchased 10 My Little Pony's!
The coming week will hopefully be filled with ponymail and spa-days for the pony's!
If everything will go as planned I will have another childhood grail back and two other grail pony's :).
And I bought a small lot with hopefully some hidden treasures in it, but you can never be sure and I just have to wait and see what will arrive in what condition.

MIB pretty Ups!

Today I went to Utrecht to a collectors event (vintage, music, memorabilia etc etc), they also had one hall that was dedicated to toys, and I really thought I could find some G1 ponies there. But unfortunately I didn't find any G1 ponies, and that made me a little bit sad.

But going through all the stalls I did find some MIB Pretty Ups! The box isn't in the best display but for someone who just started her collection I just couldn't resist this.

 

New Pony Shelf and childhood picture!

Pony Brag : Baby Fance Pants Ponies

Just look at how cute Baby Starburst looks! This is also a childhood pony of mine that I have repurchased the past weeks. I just love her blue, pink and yellow colours. She was one of my favorite baby ponies :). 

Pony Brag : Merry Go Round Ponies

Merry Go Round ponies are so beautiful and I'm lucky enough that I own one at the moment (hopefully two next week but more on that in another post). The pony I own is called Flower Bouquet. She is a beautiful white pony with pink mane, and luckely the manes and tail on mine are still pink.
